7.6. DEAD SIRIUS 3000 - "GET SIRIUS" IS OUT NOW IN FINLAND!
It is finally out there, hahaa! Dead Sirius 3000 debut album "GET SIRIUS" is now released and available in Finland. It's currently available only in CD format and will be released later this year in GERMANY (September) & JAPAN (October)! I'll post more info soon when it's on iTunes & Spotify!

DEAD SIRIUS 3000 - "GET SIRIUS" ALBUM FINISHED!
Some of you may know that when I'm not playing solo, I'm the frontman singer / guitarist in an epic rock&roll band called Dead Sirius 3000. It all happened by accident some months back. We were just 3 friends who took a week off to take it easy in the middle of nowhere just to enjoy the outdoors, beer, sauna and a have fun with some instruments.
After a week we had wrote over ten songs and things just clicked. We had become a band. Now those songs are recorded and the debut album "GET SIRIUS" is coming out in Finland 27.5. and in Germany mid-July. Stay tuned! ;)

NEW SOLO ALBUM IN THE WORKS
OK, so yea I'm finally making a new solo album :)
There's a few special things to it tho: it will only be available in Japan and they're cover songs. But I'll make videos too so I'm sure everybody will be able to enjoy some tracks worldwide.
I do have enough original material for a full album but due to various legal issues between Europe / Japan, King Records and I decided to make a totally special release for their territory. Everything's just so much easier that way, believe me. If I'd record original stuff for Japan, it would most likely stay in Japan too. So that's why I'll do only covers. The album will be released fall 2013.
Whenever I have the time, I'll start recording my new original songs also. That'll be late 2013 then.
On the other hand, I hope I have the time to do it all. There's gonna be weeks of touring, Dead Sirius 3000 album release with plenty of action coming up in Germany (more about that later) and The Northern Governors are going to the studio soon.
I hope you'll like the new stuff, the cover songs will definitely differ from the originals, some will be even mutilated.. in a positive way. Looking forward to make the videos for you all.

Mike Dawes released a jaw-dropping solo-guitar version of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" thru CandyRat records, and as I'm writing this the video has reached over a 1 million hits. So much has happened in the past months.
New releases: We have our familyband debut out now from Blue Note. "The Nothern Governors - This Is.." check it out. Raving reviews and fantastic shows, good hype, yay!
Studiowork: I just finished co-producing and mixing the upcoming Gracias x JTT album "Globe", which is currently the most anticipated hip-hop album of 2012 in Finland.
Touring: I'll be back in Japan touring solo in May and for the first time in UK in June with my buddy Mike Dawes.

24.5. SUMMER IS AROUND THE CORNER
It's gonna be a good summer, there's plenty of shows coming up with Felix Zenger. Most of those shows will also feature Tuomo, Tommy Lindgren and Redrama. Beside playing live I've got my new little studio finally set up with proper speakers, tube mics, preamps and compressors. It's been a lot of fun recording tracks for several artists and projects around the world. So on weekdays I'll be tweaking sounds and weekends go on stage. Tho gotta remember to take a break at some point and hit the cottage scene and relax in the nature. Looking forward to it!
And now our family band The Northern Governors got signed to Blue Note. First single will be released very soon and the full length CD will most likely come out just after the summer.

12.4. FRANKFURT MUSIKMESSE 2011 AFTERMATH
Messe 2011 is over and all that is left is sore fingers and a pawfull of pictures. It was so much fun seeing old friends, meeting new ones and making old friends each others new friends. And I got to jam with the bass player of Whitesnake and the guitar player of David Hasselhoff. How epic is that!
